One in six or seven couples struggle to fall pregnant, despite having unprotected sex. That’s around 3.5 million people. However, only 5 per cent of the population are actually infertile. For most, it just takes time. See your GP if you haven’t fallen pregnant after one year, or sooner if you’re over 35, or already have fertility problems.
