Anxiety is a feeling of unease that can be mild or severe. It’s normal to feel anxious at certain times, like job interviews, but, if you’re constantly anxious and it affects your day-to-day life, you may have generalised anxiety disorder (GAD). It affects one in 20 people and is most common in people in their 20s. It can be treated with cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) or medication, so see your GP.
