False. Off-white teeth aren’t necessarily unhealthy. Keep them as white as possible with good oral hygiene and avoiding tea, coffee and red wine that can lead to stains.
3. You should brush you teeth after a sugary treat
False. Sugar creates acid in the mouth that attacks tooth enamel. If you brush your teeth within the half hour after eating sugar, you risk damaging the softened enamel.
4. You should see a dentist every six months
False. Ask your dentist. If you have very good oral hygiene it might only be necessary to have a check up every two years.
