Some people do a bakesale. Some people don't talk for a day. How am I fundraising for charity? I'm shaving off all my lovely long blonde locks (shameless plug: www.justgiving.com/holliejones2) I'm quite excited about doing it, I mean, there are/have been plenty of strong, beautiful women rocking the shaved look, and it's going to be great not having to faff about with straightners/serums/sprays all the time...but i'm no Natalie portman! My normal style is natural makeup, straightened blonde hair, a pretty waist-emphasizing brightly-colored dress and flat shoes. But i'm wondering, should I adapt my style to cater for my new lack of hair? Does anyone have any experience in this? Do I pump up the girliness to compensate for a lack of long locks, or do i tone down and go for a more casual, hippy look? Also, how on earth am I going to wear foundation? Do i put it all over my head or just risk a tide-line suspended round my visage?.Should I emphasize my lips, eyes or both? Any advice? xxx

Hi Hollie
How did it turn out, have you had it done yet? How much did you raise?
Your normal style sounds lovely - why change it at all? You DON'T have to look like Tank Girl, lol:) Foundation issue - why not get one of those tinted moisturisers with a SPF factor and use that all over - because you are going to have to have protection on your head if you haven't got hair, and aren't wearing a hat. Emphasise your eyes - this is really going to bring them out! If you have them, now's the time for coloured contact lenses:) Not both lips and eyes - that'll be too much, you only have to have one really good feature to bring anyone's attention to:)
