Thought it'd be fun for everyone to write a short paragraph about the first time you and your partner met. No holds barred!! xx

Works Christmas party... a bit cheesey but for months we had slowley gravitated towards each other. By the christmas party we were both, unknown toeach other, masively lusting after each other...
We took it very slow for a few months... and I moved in with him 6 months later.
We are now 7 years happily married with two kids...

I met my partner through work. I was married and didn't know what was in store for me in later life.
My now partner fancied me the moment he saw me. I chatted to him on a friendly basis but that was it.
When the rings were off he noticed straight away and asked what had happened. The flood gates opened the whole sorry saga came out. He listened and then we both found out we lived in the same area.
At that moment we both looked at each other and said "do you fancy going out for a drink". That was that.
Next day I thought he had asked me out, out of pity. He saw me in town and said he couldn't wait to see me on the Friday.
I bounced down the hill back to work with a huge smile on my face.
Needless to say the date went well and we haven't looked back since.

I posted the question and didnt even add my own story!
I met my boyfriend while i was living in liverpool with a friend last year. Me and some friends had been on a night out, we got talking and him and his mates come back to my apartment as we were havin a party. We kissed etc and swapped numbers. The next night i was staying in the apartment on my own , he turned up with 2 bottles of wine out of the blue...we had a lovely night and didnt stop laughing....and that was that! Now we've been together nearly a year and are still really happy and get on brilliant! x

I started writing to him from the penpal section in 'Metal Hammer' magazine (funny really cos I only used to buy Kerrang! but the shop didnt have it that day...theres fate for you!) sounds cheesy doesnt it lol
Anyway we wrote for a couple of months, then he came to visit me, and about a month later I moved to Bath to be with him, and 5 years, one son and a baby on the way later we're still doing ok!

Mines a fairy tale romance set to the background noise of motor sport, dust and flies... Anyway, there i was bending over the engine bay of my rally car and Harry strolled up and started talking to me. It was 2002 and I had never met this bloke before but he had seen me around the tracks since 1999. I was attracted to him from the word go...I have no idea why as I have a ton of male friends and never felt like this. Anyway we spoke a bit over the weekend and that was it.
A year later we were at the same event and he came over to talk to me. That year (2003) he won Champion Male and I won Champion Female (driver) and it was almost a match made in motor sport heaven. THEN to my horror i found out he was married with 3 kids grrrrrrrr....
then in 2005 we met up at another event and a mutual friend told me he had split from his wife (sad) he spent the day hanging around me but still nothing! grrrr I went home and put him way back on the back burner til early this year I emailed him to say hi and see what he was up too...it ended up with him coming over...the rest is history...

I met my hubby on a blind date. Had just about given up on men as they're a bunch of losers mostly, but my friend set us up. He was amazing from the word go; honest and loving and my soul mate.

Why don't you get a film and have a themed nite like chocolate or something? Get that chocolat film out and melt some choc and dip in fruit or fingers!! Might lead to more!!! LOL
